How this estimate works
We estimate the value of manual time using average salary, 173 working hours per month and 4.33 weeks per month. We then apply the percentage you believe can realistically be automated and subtract the monthly software cost.
Recovered time may become faster service, higher capacity or lower overtime rather than direct salary savings. Validate every automation opportunity against real process data before investing.
What should you include in an AI automation ROI calculation?
Start with the work itself: how many people perform it, how many hours it consumes, and what proportion is repetitive enough to automate safely. Then add implementation cost and the ongoing cost of models, software, integration and supervision.
Why recovered hours are not automatically cash savings
If employees remain on payroll, automating ten hours of work does not instantly create ten hours of cash savings. The value may instead appear as faster turnaround, fewer backlogs, more customer capacity, less overtime or better accuracy. That is why this calculator calls the result capacity value.
